Knee Surgery – Knee Arthroscopy for Meniscal Injury (Vashi)

I walked into Dr Gautam Tawari's cabin after trying out various heat treatment and physiotherapy but none of them worked to help me get rid of constant discomfort I had in my left knee. I am 41 year old male. I am into sprint running and heavy weight training. During a sprint I twisted my leg and since than there was a discomfort. The discomfort was minute in the beginning but detoriated to an extend that there was a “clicking” sound with each step and severe pain. After examining Dr Gautam Tawari advised arthroscopy. I was discharged on the same day, thanks to this Arthroscopy process. Rather than making a cut to ‘correct’ the ligaments the Arthroscopy process involves making two small punctures to ‘look inside’ the knee and do corrective surgery. My wounds healed in less than a weeks time. Dr adviced that the inner wounds will take time to heal but in 3 months time I would be back to normal. It’s fortunate to find Dr Gautam Tawari and because of him my constant pain is gone.
